Kiren Rijiju praises PM Modi’s efforts toward sports but tweets Brazilian kid’s football video

With football fever spreading across the globe, Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju tweeted a video of a genius kid juggling a football and praised efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Our PM Modi ji has given lot’s of emphasis on sports particularly football. Our Indian team is performing much better now & younger generations are showing more interest. I’m very hopeful.”

In his tweet, Rijiju praised PM Modi’s effort in sports and he used a video without mentioning it’s location, date or origin which may let people understand it’s an Indian boy.

Well, the video posted by the minister had nothing to do with India, which is quite misleading as tweeples understood the video has an Indian Kid.

FACT CHECK

The video was originally posted on Instagram from the Kid’s account itself on 10th March 2018. Marco Antonio is a 7 years old kid who is quite popular in Brazil for his football skills.
