Though travellers may agree that it is a hassle to get luggage frisked at airport gates, it is mandatory to follow the rule to make it easy to reach where they have to.
Sadly though, there are those who would want to protest against such stuff even it means that they cause hindrance to the other passengers and even hold them up.
A woman travelling on United Airlines from Indianapolis to Newark delayed the entire flight after she refused to get her bag checked at the gate on Monday.
Further on, the woman got abusive with the crew members and refused to deboard the plane when asked to.
The other passengers with her tried to help her but were unable to fit the bag in the overhead space.
Finally, the woman was put on another flight in which the arrangements were made for her. After the woman deboarded the aircraft, the other passengers were also asked to get back to the terminal.
