Anshdeep Singh becomes first Sikh to be a part of US President’s security

Anshdeep Singh Bhatia, a Ludhiana born has become the first Sikh to be inducted in US President Donald Trump’s security. He entered into the security team after a tough training in the US.

His family moved to Ludhiana from Kanpur after the Anti-Sikh riots in 1984 in which he lost his uncle and a close relative, his father was also injured and suffered three bullet wounds.

His father, who was into the pharmaceutical business in Kanpur, married in Ludhiana and moved to the United States with his family in 2000. Anshdeep was 10 at that time. Anshdeep always dreamt to be a part of the security of the US President but was taken aback when he heard that he has to change his look but he moved to the court and the decision came into his favour.
