Yes, you have read it correctly! This man wants to sue his parents for giving birth to him

Date:

In a bizarre incident, a 27- year-old man from Mumbai want to sue his parents for giving birth to him without his consent.

In a 3 minutes 45-second video, Raphael Samuel says that he wants people to realise that they were born without consent and they do not own their parents anything.

According to Samuel, since we are given birth without our consent,  the parents should also pay for our maintenance.

“If life is imposed on me, then I should also have the right to death. If I don’t have that right, I should at least have the right to maintenance. I’ll sue my parents&make it a legal right for a child, ” he told ANI.

This type of Philosophy is known to many as Antinatalism. It is a philosophical position that assigns a negative value to birth. They believe that people should refrain from having children because it is morally wrong.

In a post on Facebook, Samuel also shared his mother’s response to his belief and his decision to sue parents.
“I must admire my son’s temerity to want to take his parents to court knowing both of us are lawyers.”

“If Raphael could come up with a rational explanation as to how we could have sought his consent to be born, I will accept my fault,” she said.

However, it seems that Samuel’s idea has even intrigued international leaders.

President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr. , also shared the news, captioned- “I’m going to go out on a limb here and say this definitely a liberal.”

Though many have called him out for his “ingratitude” and “ridiculous case”, it won’t be wrong to say that Samuel has caught the interest of many with this move.
