This mass grave is not of terrorists killed in India’s air strike, here is the fact check

Date:

A picture is making rounds on social media in which graves are seen being dug and the caption claim that it is in Pakistan for the terrorists killed in the Balakot airstrike by the Indian Air Force.

The caption read: पाकिस्तान-में ४ दिन-से-लगातार-कब्रे# खुदवायी-जा-रही है और तुम अभी तक सबूत पे ही अटके हो |
(Translate: For 4-days in Pakistan, graves are being dug and you are asking for proof of Airstrikes)

FACT CHECK

On fact-checking the above picture, we found that the claim attached with the picture is FAKE as this picture does not depict the graves for the terrorists killed in Balakot air strike.

When NewsMobile put the image through Google Reverse Image Search we found that the same picture was used by a news website called Khas Khabar in its report dated 21st May, 2016.

While digging more, we came across another picture very similar to the viral picture. We found that the second picture was clicked on February 17, 2013, in Pakistan’s Quetta a day after the bombing.

So, it is clear that the viral picture is definitely not from Balakot after the Indian Air Force carried out air strike on JeM terror camp on February 26th.
