Try a coconut regime to combat heat

The excruciating summer heat will soon envelop us and it is only going to get crazier in the coming months. While we avoid going out or rely on AC’s and light clothes to protect us, there are certain natural ways to be cool.

One of the most natural ways are extremely effective and not very expensive. Using coconut oil milk mix in your bath water helps combat heat. A mix of coconut water and milk leaves the skin softer, glowing as well as cooler. After a long tiring week, this is the stress buster you need and it also helps your skin become revitalized.

You can easily prepare the mix at home. Add coconut, water, milk and a little honey in the bowl. Honey is good for the skin even otherwise and a natural moisturizer that is in many of the lotions and creams we get in the market. You can also add flavour like rose or lavender oil that

Add a few drops of lavender or rose oil as this uplifts the mood. Take this mix and add to the bucket pre-shower. Coconut milk is anti-inflammatory. It also has vitamins C, E and B6, iron as well as magnesium.

For another DIY, you can simply add a cup of pink salt to the water. The salts also have minerals, that help the body hydrate and relax post-shower.
