FACT CHECK

Team of fact-checkers at NewsMobile checked the above post and found that it was factually false.

The caption said “Jammu – Udhampur NH-1″, which is incorrect because India’s National Highway 1 starts from the national capital Delhi to Attari in Punjab near the India–Pakistan border and NH 1 doesn’t pass through Jammu, Udhampur is not.

Also, on observing the direction in which the cars are moving, it becomes clear that cars are left-hand drive. Whereas India is a right-hand drive country. This proves that this is not from India.

Moreover, when we put the picture through Reverse Image Search on Yandex, we found the same picture and it was from Portugal.

The huge bridge is built in Portugal’s Madeira.

Therefore, it is proved that the above picture is not from India.
