Fact Checked: Don’t believe this picture of Swara Bhaskar holding placard

A picture of Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar has surfaced the internet in which she is holding a placard which read “I am from Bollywood I am a failed actress I need attention.”

At the time of filing this report, the above post was shared by over 1,600 Facebook users.

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post we found that the text on the placard is FAKE.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture on Swara Bhaskar’s verified Instagram in which she was showing her outrage against the incident of 8-year-old being raped.

Hence, this proves that the viral picture of Swara Bhaskar is manipulated using Photoshop software.
