Ajay Bhadoo appointed as Joint Secretary to Prez Ram Nath Kovind

The appointments committee of the union cabinet has appointed Gujarat cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Ajay Bhadoo as Joint Secretary to the President of India for a tenure co-terminus with the President.

Bhadoo is 1999 batch IAS officer presently serving as Commissioner of Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) in Gujarat.

Earlier, Gujarat cadre Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Bharat Lal was appointed in Jal Shakti ministry as additional secretary. He was serving as additional secretary to the President of India.
