Priyanka Chopra’s smoking picture goes viral, netizens ask ‘where is your asthma?’

Date:

Desi Girl continues her birthday celebrations in Miami. Pictures of the ‘Desi Girl’ letting her hair down with husband Nick Jonas, mother Madhu Chopra and close friends are being widely shared by fan clubs on social media.

But apart from her birthday bash and pictures from her yacht party, it’s this one snap of Priyanka smoking a cigarette with Nick and her mom smoking a cigar that has gone viral.

The trolling began when netizens associated her ‘smoking picture’ with her previous statements on suffering from asthma and asking her fans not to smoke.

Earlier, Priyanka was slammed for the grand fireworks display after her Christian wedding with Nick. Netizens called her a hypocrite and asked what happened to her asthma and concern for the environment when she lit fireworks to celebrate her own special day.

Last year, Priyanka tweeted an ad campaign in which she revealed that she was diagnosed with asthma at the age of five. She wrote that it could not hold her back from making her dreams come true.

“Those who know me well know that I’m an asthmatic. I mean, what’s to hide? I knew that I had to control my asthma before it controlled me. As long as I’ve got my inhaler, asthma can’t stop me from achieving my goals and living a ‘Berok Zindagi’,” she tweeted.
