Fact Check: No! This video is not from Kendriya Vidyalaya

A video has surfaced on the internet in which some people can be seen brutally thrashing a person.

The claim attached to the video is that the incident took place in Kendriya Vidyalaya.

The caption read: “केंद्रीय विद्यालय के बच्चे है इस वीडियो को वायरल करना पड़ेगा तभी ये बच्चे गिरफ्त में आ सकते हैं। अमानवीय कृत्य । पुलिस संज्ञान ले। जो भी देखे इसे वायरल करे ताकि टीचर , बच्चे व् अभिभावक सचेत हो जावे।
दोस्तों इन्सानीयत के नाते आपसे हाथ जोड़कर विनती है की यह वीडियो ज्यादा से ज्यादा गृपो में भेजना है कल शाम तक हरेक न्यूज चैनल में आना चाहिए”

On putting the screengrabs of the video through Reverse Image Search, we found the original video on the verified YouTube channel of ETV dated Jun 29, 2019

It is mentioned in the video that the incident took place in Anantapur Arts College, Andhra Pradesh and police have arrested 4 people.

Hence, the above information proves that the video is not from Kendriya Vidyalaya.
