A picture post has surfaced on the internet with the claim that an elephant in Uttarakhand saved the lives of people by obstructing a bus falling in a trench.

The text on the post read: ”

Translation: ”This elephant saved the lives of people by obstructing a bus falling in a trench in Uttarakhand Jai Ganesha”
