FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above video, we found that the claim attached to the video is false.

On running the video through InVid, we extracted keyframes of the video. On putting the keyframes through Reverse Image Search, we came across the same video dated March 9th, 2011 on Times Now’s official YouTube channel.

The incident was from Lucknow when Samajwadi Party was protesting against then UP Chief Minister Mayawati led government. Akhilesh Yadav was arrested from the Lucknow airport.
