The bypolls to 15 Karnataka seats will now be held on December 5 and the counting will take place on December 9, the Election Commission said on Friday.
The decision came a day after the poll body decided to defer the bypolls citing proceedings in the Supreme Court regarding the pleas filed by 17 disqualified MLAs of the state challenging their disqualification.
The revised date for nominations is now November 11 and the last date of nominations is November 18. While the last date for withdrawal of nomination is November 21.

The apex court will hear the matter of the disqualified MLAs on October 22. Earlier the bypoll was scheduled to be held on October 21 and counting was to take place on October 24.
