Delhi Metro Grey Line: Dwarka-Najafgarh corridor inaugurated; services from 5 pm today

The 4.29 kilometre-long corridor which connects Dwarka to Najafgarh was inaugurated on Friday by Housing and Urban Affairs minister Hardeep Puri and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Services on the corridor will start for passengers at 5 pm today.

Union minster Puri said with the opening of this corridor, the Delhi Metro has covered 377 kilometres in Delhi-NCR.

Delhi CM Kejriwal said people of Najafgarh had been demanding this for a long time. People residing in the rural areas will be benefitted by the corridor, he said.

The Grey Line have three stations — Dwarka, Nangli and Najafgarh. While Dwarka and Nangli are elevated stations, Najafgarh is underground.
