From Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya Panday to Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol, the year has seen many newcomers that delivered a stunning performance and proved their acting prowess.
Here’s a list of major debuts of 2019
- Ananya Panday
The 21-year-old actress made her debut with Student Of The Year 2 (SOTY 2) in 2019. She made her big debut opposite another star kid Tiger Shroff. The second instalment of SOTY received a mixed response from critics but performed decently at the box office.

2. Siddhant Chaturvedi
Known for his role as a rapper MC Sher, Siddhant made his debut with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. However, the actor was first seen in the popular web series Inside Edge Season 1 (2017). He received the widespread applause for his role.
3. Tara Sutaria
The actress made her debut along with another newcomer Ananya Pandey with Punit Malhotra’s film Student Of The Year 2. Tara is also a trained singer and dancer.

4. Karan Deol
Actor Sunny Deol launched his son Karan Deol with ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’. Karan played a naive trekker boy in the movie who falls for a Delhi girl played by another debutant Sahher Bambba.
5. Sahher Bammba
Born in Shimla, Sahher marked her Bollywood debut with the film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. The actress essayed the role of a Dilli ki vlogger in the movie.
6. Pranutan Bahl
Granddaughter of legendary actress Nutan, Pranutan Bahl made her debut with Nitin Kakkar’s Notebook opposite another newcomer, Zaheer Iqbal.
7. Meezaan
Bollywood actor Jaaved Jaaferi’s son Meezaan played the role of a goon in his first movie Malaal under the banner of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Films.
8. Sharmin Segal
Niece of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sharmin Segal made her debut opposite Meezaan in Malaal.
9. Saiee Manjrekar
With his third instalment of Dabbang, Bollywood star Salam Khan launched Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Saiee Manjrekar in Dabbang 3. The movie was released on December 20 this year.
