Maharashtra: Five killed in explosion at chemical factory in Palghar

At least five people were killed and six injured in an explosion at a chemical factory in Maharashtra’s Palghar district on Saturday evening. The incident took place in a factory called Tara Nitra in the Boisar industrial area.

After the incident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced the financial aid of Rs 5 lakh each to the deceased family.

“CM Uddhav Thackeray announces financial assistance of Rs 5 lakhs each to the family members of those who lost their lives in the fire at the chemical factory in Boisar, today,” Maharashtra CMO said.
