India on Thursday expressed its willingness to assist China in containing the spread of the deadly Coronavirus and in any other way, if requested by the Chinese authorities.
Speaking at the weekly press briefing, the Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson said that India shall favourably consider any request made formally by the Chinese authorities.
He also added on the same issue that India has evacuated more than 640 Indian nationals from the city of Wuhan and the safety of other Indian nationals in Hubei and other provinces of China are being monitored.

The Ministry also stated that Chinese nationals from the Chinese mainland who are in possession of Indian visas including e-visas, these visas will henceforth be deemed invalid and Chinese wanting to enter India can do so only under extra ordinary circumstances and after applying for fresh visas.
A couple of incoming visits too were announced. They are:
1. The President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will be on a state visit to India from Feb 13-16.
He will be meeting the Prime Minister, President of India and the Vice President apart from visiting the states of Goa and Maharashtra.
2. The Vice President of Vietnam Nguyen Luong Bang will also be paying an official visit to India from Feb 11-13th.He will hold meetings with the Vice President of India and call on the President. He will also pay a visit to Bodh Gaya in Bihar before leaving for Vietnam.
