COVID-19 | State-wise latest updates on coronavirus numbers in India

With the tally in India touching the 50,000-mark, the states are witnessing a linear trend with some select states witnessing a spike as well.

Here are the latest numbers from different states across the country-

– Delhi: 428 positive cases, 1 death reported and 74 people recovered from COVID-19 today. The total number of positive cases rose to 5532, including 1542 recovered and 65 deaths.

– Haryana: 46 fresh cases and one more COVID-19 death was reported today, as the number of people testing positive for the infection rose to 594. The death toll stands at 7 and the number of active cases at 327.

– Maharashtra: 34 deaths and 1,233 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in Maharashtra today, taking the total number of cases in the state to 16,758; death toll stands at 651.

– Rajasthan: 159 more COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths reported today taking the total number of cases in the state to 3317, including 1485 active cases and 93 deaths.

– Uttar Pradesh: 118 more COVID-19 cases reported today as of 6 pm, taking the total number of cases in the state to 2998, including 1808 active cases, 1130 discharged, and 60 deaths.

– Gujarat: 380 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in Gujarat in the last 24 hours. Total number of cases in the state now at 6625, including 1500 cured/discharged and 396 deaths.

– West Bengal: 112 COVID-19 positive cases reported today, taking the total cases in the state to 1,456. 4 deaths also reported in the last 24 hours, total deaths now at 72.

– Tamil Nadu: 771 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported today, taking the total number of positive cases to 4,829. Two deaths have been reported today- the death toll now stands at 35.

– Telangana: 11 more COVID-19 cases reported taking the total number of cases in the state to 1107, including 648 discharged/cured, 430 active cases, and 29 deaths.

– Karnataka: 20 more COVID-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases in the state to 693, including 354 discharged and 29 deaths.

– Kerala: No COVID-19 positive case reported today. Total number of cases in the state is at 502, including 30 active cases.

– Odisha: 5 new positive cases reported today, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 185 including 122 active cases, 2 deaths and 61 cured/discharged cases.

– Himachal Pradesh: 1 person tested positive for COVID-19 today, taking the total number of cases in the state to 43, including 3 active cases, 34 recovered, and 2 deaths.
