Delhi makes 7-day home quarantine compulsory for all arriving by flights, trains, buses

The Delhi government on Wednesday made seven days home quarantine compulsory for those arriving in the city by train, bus or flight.

Earlier, the Delhi government had only advised that incoming people should monitor themselves for the next 14 days and call the District Surveillance Officer or National Call Center if they show symptoms of coronavirus.

The move came on a day when the national capital reported 1,513 COVID-19 cases, highest single-day jump, and nine deaths. The total number of cases in the city now stands at 23,645, including 13,497 active cases and 606 deaths.
