Fan Moment Turns Into Paying Lunch Bill For Indian Team Cricketers In Australia

A fan moment turned into an Indian cricket buff in Australia who claims to have paid the bill as a kind gesture for cricketers of the Indian team who were having lunch on new year’s day. The fan Navaldeep Singh posted on twitter about picking up the tab at a restaurant in Melbourne. Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Navdeep Saini and Rohit Sharma were seen in the video posted by Singh on social media.

He first speaks about the big surprise he got when he saw the cricketers on the table in front of him and lost his appetite while posting a short video. He talks about ordering more food just to stay on longer at the restaurant for his favourite cricketers.

“They are not aware but i have paid there table bill 🙂 . Least i can do for my superstars” Said Navaldeep Singh on twitter.

The tweet is accompanied by a picture of the bill which he says he paid which amounted to AUD 118.69 which is around Rs.6683.

He goes on to talk about how the cricketers reacted when they realized Singh had paid the bill. “When they got know that i have paid the bill.. Rohit sharma said bhaji pese lelo yaar acha nai lagta.. i said no sir its on me. Pant hugged me and said photo tabhi hogi jab pese loge wapis. I said no bro not happening. Finally sabane photo khichwai 🙂 mja aa gya yaar #blessed.”

The last tweet read, “Pant to my wife before leaving – Thank you bhabhi ji for the lunch.” Though Singh, who is a big cricket buff has not posted one photo with the cricketers even after he claims to have paid the lunch bill.
