In the backdrop of this, an image is being widely shared on social media in which Mulayam Singh Yadav is seen giving his blessings to Aparna Yadav. The post is shared with a caption hinting that the image is from the time when Aparna Yadav joined BJP.
The image is shared with the caption that reads, “ससुरे की दुआएं लेती जा, जा तुझको सुरक्षित भाजपाई मिलें।” (English translation: Take blessings from your father in law, hope you get safe BJP.)

On doing a Yandex Reverse Image Search with the above image, we found that a similar image was uploaded by Aparna Yadav on her Twitter handle on September 21, 2021. The image was shared with the caption that reads, “माता जी के जन्मदिवस के शुभ अवसर पर माता जी का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ , माता जी एवम् पिता जी की ममता एवम् आशीर्वाद की क्षत्र छाया हम सब पर सदैव बनी रहे और ईश्वर से प्रार्थना है कि माता जी एवम् पिता जी स्वस्थ रहें व दीर्घायु प्राप्त करें ।” (English translation: On the auspicious day of mother’s birthday, I was blessed to get the blessings of mother, Hope the blessings of mother and father always remain with us and I pray that God bless mother and father with health and long life.)
We compared the viral image with the original image and found them to be the same.
Since Aparna Yadav joined BJP on January 20, 2022, hence, the image is old.
We also found that Aparna Yadav had tweeted an image of her taking Mulayam Singh Yadav’s blessings after joining BJP, but that image is different. She shared the image on January 21, 2021.
However, the viral image is old and does not show Aparna Yadav taking Mulayam Singh Yadav’s blessings after joining the BJP.
