Twitter Flooded With Memes After Chahal Run Out Kohli

Date:

Mumbai: Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets in a last-over thriller game on Tuesday.

Batting first, Rajasthan Royals put up a decent total of 170 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. However, RCB took to the challenge and chased the total with Dinesh Karthik playing an extraordinary inning of 44 runs not out in just 23 deliveries.

Meanwhile, this was also the first game where Yuzvendra Chahal, a former RCB player, played against Virat Kohli in this edition. The clash between the two concluded to be an important highlight of the game.

David Willey flicked a length ball away and tried to get an easy single. But unfortunately, due to a mix-up in the call for a run, Kohli was dismissed after the quick reaction of Sanju Samson to throw the bowl towards Chahal who hit the stumps before Virat could manage to return. Kohli went out by scoring 5 runs of 6 deliveries.

Former RCB players’ role in Kohli’s dismissal filled Twitter with memes and reactions from the fans.
