New Delhi: India observed a spike in daily covid cases on Wednesday with 1,088 new covid cases with at least 26 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.
A gradual increase in the number of cases over the past few days. The total number of new cases recorded on April 5 was 795. Over the week cases were recorded to be increasing gradually.
The Health Ministry on Wednesday updated the active caseload in the country which stands at 10,870 cases. A total of 1,084 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.
The active cases stand at 0.03% with a recovery rate of 98.76%.
The daily positivity rate of Covid stands at 0.25% and the weekly positivity rate was observed to be 0.24%.
