IPL 2022: Lucknow Super Giants Beat Punjab Kings by 20-runs

Pune: Lucknow Super Giants defeated Punjab Kings by 20-runs in the league match of the Indian Premier League 2022 in Pune’s Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Friday.

Batting first Super Giants set a target of 154-runs for the Kings. Quinton De Kock fell short four runs from his half-century and Deepak Hooda managed to put 34-runs for the side.

Chasing the target regular Punjab Kings fell short 21-runs as the team scored 133/8 by the end of 20 overs.

As far as the points table is concerned, with six-wins Lucknow Super Giants now stand at the third spot with Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals at the first and the second position respectively.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans will lock horns with RCB and Rajasthan will clash with Mumbai Indians on Saturday.
