Srinagar: In a recent operation led by the security forces in Kupwara, seven terrorists including three Pakistanis were killed on Monday.
According to the statement made by Vijay Kumar, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir “Encounter began in Kupwara on Sunday, Two LeT terrorists from Pakistan were killed yesterday itself along with another Pakistani terrorist who was gunned down early morning today. A local terrorist was gunned down along with him.”
He further confirmed an encounter of a local terrorist in Pulwama. Two terrorists with links to Jiash-e-Mohammed were gunned down taking up the tally to seven terrorists being killed.
The Kupwara police launched a joint operation along with the Army 28RR on the disclosure of an arrested terrorist Showket Ahmed Sheikh.
