After intensive country-wide promotions, tours, and publicity, the much-hyped and highly-anticipated film was clouded with heavy expectations but did not perform satisfactorily.
Taking to the Twitter, netizens revealed that the film had a weak script, poor direction, the film lacks story and climax, Ananya Panday’s acting was “unbearable,” while Ramya Krishnan had an “over-the-top performance.”
Some even said that the film is a “torture” and an overall “flop”.
#OneWordReview…#Liger: OUTDATED.

Nothing brought north and south cine goers together like #Liger. Both hate it equally. Movie is full of cringe and terrible acting by nepo kid #AnanyaPandey.
Ppl in south: its a shitty Bollywood movie.
Ppl in north: That’s why we #BoycottLiger and #BoycottBollwood#ligerreview— Edward’s Middle Finger (@PrasantaBhuyan) August 25, 2022
UTTER DISASTER ❌
Not a Puri – Mark film.
BGM & songs are totally misfired.
Totally predictable story-line.
Fight sequences are good, which is the only +ve point of the film.
The VIJAY DEVARKONDA bags another flop.#ligerreview #LigerMovie #WaatLagaDenge pic.twitter.com/9E1AxkzbM9— Mohith Kumar (@Mohithspeaks) August 25, 2022
#Liger is a CASE STUDY.
A Case Study in Forensics.
Forensics experts will be digging through the rubble of this fiasco for a long time, trying to reconstruct the accident.
How did so many lines fall flat? Why were the action scenes so corny and unconvincing ?#ligerreview: ⭐️ pic.twitter.com/t9cmghUs1T— Abhishek Parihar (@BlogDrive) August 25, 2022
Its not just a Utter Flop but its a Disaster of the Disasters .
Its a befitting reply to Arrogant KONDA.
Hear from this kid & public . Actors who dont even know acting will behave arrogantly & try to preach .#VijayDevarakonda #BoycottLiger #BoycottBollywood #ligerreview pic.twitter.com/UdD4r7fqaT— Arnab Goswami (@ArnabGoswamy_1) August 25, 2022
I won’t say Boycott but this movie was a shit.
People make anything nowadays in name of movies, they think stardom/fame will get them audience, need to get storyline first .
Totall waste of time and money #ligerreview https://t.co/gVHLJtZQDK— Proud Mumbaikar (@Psycho_mumbai1) August 26, 2022
