Shah Rukh Khan Stopped At Mumbai Airport For Carrying Luxury Watches

Mumbai: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan was reportedly stopped for hours by the customs officers at the Mumbai Airport last night for carrying expensive watches in the baggage.

According to reports, Shah Rukh was returning from Sharjah after attending an event and was stopped by the customs department at the Terminal 3 of the Mumbai International Airport. The watches were found in the baggage of Shah Rukh Khan and people accompanying him.

The reports further added that SRK and his manager were allowed to leave the airport after completion of Customs formalities while some of his men including his bodyguards were detained for questioning and were left around morning.

According to sources close to NDTV, SRK has to pay ₹6.83 lakh in customs duty for the watches.

Shah Rukh Khan was attending the Sharjah International Book Fair 2022 on Friday were he was awarded with the ‘Global Icon of Cinema and Cultural Narrative Award’ for his immense contribution in the field of cinema and culture.
