Lionel Messi’s Hotel Room In Qatar To Be Transformed Into A Museum

Doha: After the successful completion of the FIFA World Cup 2022, Qatar University has announced that the hotel room of Argentine star player Lionel Messi will be transformed into a museum.

According to a report by GOAL, Qatar University announced that the room in which Magical Messi stayed towards the end of the World Cup campaign will not invite another host.

The University plans on transforming the room into a small museum, with Paris Saint Germain star’s possession preserved in the room for students and tourists to witness.

A Qatari newspaper quoted by GOAL.com interviewed the director of communication and public relations at the University said that “The room of Argentina national team player Lionel Messi will remain unchanged and will remain available only for visitors and not for residents. Messi’s belongings will be a legacy for students and future generations and a witness to the great achievements Messi has reached during the World Cup.”

Messi became the highlight of Argentina’s journey to World Cup glory as the side defeated France in the finals. Messi bagged the well-deserved golden ball and was named as the ‘Player of the Tournament’.
