New Delhi: Ahead of Sachin Pilot’s day-long fast, Congress on Monday termed the move as “anti-party activity”.
Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Rajasthan Congress Incharge in a statement said that “Sachin Pilot’s day-long fast tomorrow is against the party interests and is anti-party activity.”
He further added “If there is any issue with his own government, it can be discussed in the party forums instead of in the media and public.”
He also alleged that Sachin Pilot discussed the concerns with him during his tenure as AICC incharge for the past five months.
The statement further added “ I am in touch with him and I still appeal for calm dialogue since he is an indisputable asset to the Congress party.”
Earlier, Sachin Pilot raised concerns of inaction by the state government and added “I wrote a letter to CM Ashok Gehlot and said that elections are coming and we must show the public that there is no difference between our promises and our work. But I have not received any answer from the CM yet,”.
