A tweet, allegedly published by Donal Trump Junior, is widely shared on social media calling upon supporters of his father, former US President Donald Trump, to protest in clean attire and be well-groomed to protest against his indictment. A grand jury in New York issued an indictment against Donald Trump for his involvement in the payment of hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016, prior to assuming office as President.
The tweet reads: “MAGA: If you are going to protest outside of the Manhattan DA’s office you MUST be wearing clean clothes and have taken a shower. Trump is NOT low-class”.

We scanned the Twitter handle of Donald Trump Junior, but could not find any such tweet by him, nor is there a record of this tweet in Twitter archives. We also did an Advanced Keyword Search on Twitter, but failed to find any such tweet corroborating the viral claim.
A keyword search on Google also did not yield any results similar to the viral claim.
Searching further, we found that the fabricated tweet was originally published by a satirical account on March 31, 2023. The Twitter bio of this account reads: “Trying to understand this crazy world & get a few laughs. Most of our screenshots are parodies.”
Thus, it is quite clear that a fabricated tweet is shared as Donald Trump Junior asking protesters to wear clean clothes.
