‘Paid Price For Speaking Truth’: Rahul Gandhi As He Vacates His Official Bungalow

Date:

New Delhi: As Congress leader Rahul Gandhi vacated his official bungalow on Saturday following his disqualification from Lok Sabha, he said he is ready to pay the price for speaking the truth.

After handing over the official bungalow, at Tughlak Lane, Rahul Gandhi said “People of Hindustan gave me this house for 19 years, I want to thank them. It’s the price for speaking the truth. I am ready to pay any price for speaking the truth…,”.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra added “Whatever my brother is saying is truth. He spoke the truth about the government for which he is suffering. But we are not afraid..,”.

AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal reacted to the move and said “They can give this house to anyone now. The way the Modi government and Amit Shah is targeting Rahul Gandhi is completely a political vendetta.”

Before leaving the bungalow, Rahil Gandhi shook hands with the staff, closed the door himself and handed over the keys.

Rahul Gandhi further added “Will stay at 10, Janpath (Sonia Gandhi’s residence) for some time, will continue to raise issues.”
