FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim and found it to be False.

Extracting keyframes from the viral video and performing a Reverse Image Search, we found the YouTube channel of TV9BanglaLive carrying the same video on February 27, 2022.

The video description in Bangla states: “Voting for Ward No. 33 of South Dum Dum Municipality is going on at Lakeview School. The agent himself stopped the voters and pressed the button on EVM. Watch that video.”

Another news report published on February 27, 2022, that carried glimpses of the viral video. According to the report, “The video is from Booth No. 108, Ward No. 33, South Dum Dum. In this video, it is seen that Trinamool workers occupied the booth.” The report stated that BJP leader Agnimitra Pal shared the video.”

So, we can conclusively say that this video is not related to the Karnataka assembly elections.
