FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim, and found it to be FALSE.
Running a Reverse Image Search, our fact-check team identified several social media handles carrying the same viral image stating that it is “The San Boldo Pass in Italy”.
Searching further, we found various stock images and vlogs showcasing this particular route in Italy.
The San Boldo Pass is a mountain pass situated in the Veneto region of Italy, specifically between the towns of Trichiana and Tovena in the Cison di Valmarino region. Stretching across 17 kilometres, it is located at the southern end of the Alps. Serving as an important connection between Val Belluna and Val Mareno, the pass reaches a remarkable elevation of 706 metres. Notable characteristics of the pass include five tunnels carved through the rock, featuring distinctive hairpin turns and six bridges
Moreover, the same route is also visible on Google Earth and Google Maps.
Thus, it is evident from the above information that the viral image showing hairpin bends are from the San Boldo Pass in Italy, NOT from Himachal Pradesh in India
