New Delhi: Elon Musk, in an announcement on Sunday, unveiled his plan to change Twitter’s logo. Taking to Twitter, he mentioned replacing the iconic little blue birdie with an “X”.

In another tweet posted on Sunday, the billionaire owner added, “If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make it go live worldwide tomorrow.”

He posted a series of tweets, asking users to suggest on a new logo and terminology as per its new identity. “Now that “Twitter” will be known as “X”. What should we call “Tweeting”?” he asks. “X.com now points to twitter.com. Interim X logo goes live later today,” he added.
The bird was temporarily replaced in April by Dogecoin’s Shiba Inu dog, which ended up helping add as much as $4 billion to the meme coin’s market value.
Following Musk’s acquisition of Twitter in October, the company underwent a significant transformation by rebranding itself as X Corp. This name change was in alignment with Musk’s ambitious goal of developing a “super app” akin to China’s WeChat, as reported by the New York Post.
The announcement received mixed reactions from users, with some expressing shock and disappointment, labelling it a “Bad Move.” On the other hand, there were many who showed enthusiasm and excitement, saying, “It’s happening.”
