NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be misleading.
Running a Reverse Image Search of the viral picture, the NM team identified a tweet dated February 17, 2021, on an unverified handle. One of the pictures matches with the viral screenshot. Its caption informs that the pictures in the tweet are all from behind-the-scenes of the shooting of Bollywood film Jab Harry Met Sejal, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.
Searching further, we came across a YouTube video on the official channel of Red Chillies Entertainment — production house for the movie, dated September 15, 2017, titled: SRK’s 60 Shots from Behind-the-scenes | Jab Harry Met Sejal | Anushka Sharma.
The picture at 1:15 matches with the viral post confirming that it is a BTS picture of the film and not anything related to Khan washing his feet in a basin. The movie is available on Netflix, too, and at 2:05:26 we can see the exact scene where Khan is washing his feet at the airport.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral video, claiming to show SRK washing his feet in a wash basin, is misleading.
