Apple Event 2023: In A First, Apple To Sell Made-In-India iPhones On Launch Day

Date:

New Delhi: The wait is over for iPhone lovers! For Indians, the good news is that iPhone buyers will not have to wait for longer periods to get their hands on the new shiny devices as Made-in-India iPhone 15s will go on sale on the very first day. A Bloomberg report citing sources has claimed that Apple will be selling devices assembled in India on the launch day.

iPhone 15 launch today:

Apple will launch the iPhone series at the Wonderlust event beginning at 10:30 pm (India time) today.

Just like last year, the iPhone 15 series will continue to include four models — iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The iPhone 15 and the 15 Plus are said to feature an aluminium side and a glass sandwich design, similar to the iPhone 14, and 14 Plus. However, the expensive iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max are said to switch from stainless steel to titanium, which will not only reduce the weight by up to 10 per cent but will also enhance the durability, according to a Bloomberg report.

What other than iPhone 15?

The event will also feature other notable announcements including the new Apple Watch series and Apple AirPods.
