A video claiming the Israeli army evacuated its air bases near the Gaza Strip after the recent attacks is doing the rounds on social media. Two fighter jets can be seen being transported through trucks. Many users claim it to be true.

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be false.
Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, the NM team identified a tweet, dated September 14, 2023. The video matches with the viral clip, and as per its description, these jets were spotted in South Israel.
Also, a YouTube shorts video, dated September 19, 2023, too, describes that the clip is from South Israel, and the date of posting pre-dates the attacks.
Noticing a signboard in the video with Ar’ara BaNegev written on it, our team found that it is, indeed, in the southern district of Israel.
We could not independently verify the original source of the viral clip. But given that it has been online since September 14, 2023, it cannot be linked to the recent attacks on Israel. Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post is false.
