ED Summons Arvind Kejriwal In Delhi Excise Policy Case On November 2

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate has summoned the Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener, Arvind Kejriwal. He is required to make an appearance before the agency on November 2, in connection with the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy case.

Kejriwal was earlier summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in April this year, in connection with the case.

CM Kejriwal has been called in for questioning in the same case that led to the arrest of his former deputy, Manish Sisodia. The summons were issued the same day the Supreme Court turned down the bail plea of his former deputy, Manish Sisodia, in the case.

Alongside Sisodia, AAP MP Sanjay Singh was also taken into custody by the ED on October 4 as part of their money laundering investigation. He is presently under judicial custody until November 10.
