Mumbai: Rapper Badshah has been summoned for questioning by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell on Monday in Mumbai. The investigation is related to a digital piracy case, and Badshah has been summoned as part of the inquiry.
The singer-rapper has been summoned for endorsing the Fairplay App, which is a subsidiary of the Mahadev app. Initial details suggest that the Fairplay app has broadcasted the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently investigating allegations of money laundering associated with the Mahadev Book app.
Several celebrities, including Ranbir Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Kapil Sharma, and Shraddha Kapoor, have been called for questioning in relation to this case.
