Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, the NM team identified a tweet by journalist Hanan Amiur, dated August 31, 2023.
The video matches with the viral clip describing that the weapons were caught in Ramallah.
An Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, dated August 31, 2023, reports the same incident. According to the article, various weapons were seized in the raid in Beitunia village, Ramallah. It further tells that “Molotov cocktails and stones were thrown at the forces” during the investigation of the compound.
The date of posting of the video confirms that it has been on the news since August 31, 2023. So, it cannot be linked to the ongoing war.
