FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be false.

Running the viral video keyframes through a Reverse Image Search, our team identified a tweet on the official handle of Jamil Alhasaan — a journalist from Syria, dated October 7, 2023. The video matches exactly with the viral clip describing that Jamil documented scenes of rockets and shells launched by Syrian opposition factions targeting Qardaha.

An Instagram post on Jamil’s official handle also matches with one of the keyframes of the viral video, informing that it is about the Syrian conflict.

We could not find a single credible news source linking the viral video to the Israel-Palestine war. Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show the two journalists from Gaza killed by Israel, is false.
