FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be false.

Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, the NM team identified a tweet on an unverified account, dated November 9, 2022. The caption in the tweet informs that all these cricketers started dancing in joy at the sets of a Pakistani show The Pavilion, when Pakistan reached the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 after beating New Zealand.

Searching further, our team found a YouTube video on the official channel of A Sports — broadcaster of the Pakistani cricket show The Pavilion, dated November 9, 2022.

The description of the video confirms that these Pakistani cricketers were dancing to celebrate the team’s qualification for the T20 World Cup final.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post’s claim that Pakistani cricketers dancing in joy after Australia defeated India in the World Cup 2023 final is fabricated.
