New Delhi: Harvard University is set to introduce a new course centred around the sensational American singer Taylor Swift, as per Entertainment Weekly. This course will focus on analyzing her significant global impact, primarily through her chart-topping music.
Harvard’s newly introduced course, reportedly titled “Taylor Swift and Her World,” aims to examine Taylor Swift’s lyrics and expanding worldwide impact.
The University of Florida is also planning to introduce a course centred on musical storytelling, joining Harvard. Unlike the Harvard course, this curriculum will not solely revolve around Taylor Swift. Reports suggest that it will encompass iconic musical figures such as Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, and Dolly Parton.
Besides Harvard University and the University of Florida, various other institutions, including Belgium’s Ghent University and Berklee College of Music, have announced plans to introduce courses that focus on Taylor Swift and her impact on arts and culture.
