Ranveer Singh To Receive An Honor At The Red Sea International Film Festival 2023

Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh is ready to add another feather to his cap, as the actor will be honoured at the Red Sea International Film Festival’s third edition. The festival is all set to take place in Saudi Arabia. It is scheduled to take place from November 30 t0 December 9.

During this 10 day long festival, local and international film talents from across the globe will be acknowledges and celebrated. Joining Ranveer Singh in the honorees at the festival will be German actress Diane Kruger and veteran Saudi writer and actor Abdullah Al-Sadhan.

The CEO of the Red Sea Film Foundation Mohammed Al-Turki, was quoted in a media report as saying, ‘This year we are honouring Ranveer Singh, an icon of Hindi cinema; Diane Kruger, who has delivered us a series of unforgettable characters from Helen of Troy to Tarantino’s Bridget von Hammersmark and affected us with her powerhouse performance of the avenging Angel Katja in Fatih Akin’s In the Fade.’

The festival’s jury list includes very talented faces like Elvis director Baz Luhrmann. The director was previously also announced as the resident of the jury for the main feature film competition. Joining the jury table with Luhrmann will be Joel Kinnaman, Freida Pinto, Amina Khalil and Paz Vega.

Meanwhile, on the workfront, after the massive success of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, now Singh big banner projects to look forward to. To begin with, the actor will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe Singham Again alongside his wife Deepika Padukone. Earlier this year, the actor was announced as the new face of the Don franchise, after he had signed Son 3 with Farhan Akhtar. At the same time, several media reports also suggest that Ranveer Singh has been casted as the lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajju Barwa.
