Epignosis Appoints Nikhil Arora As CEO

Global learning software company, Epignosis, announced the appointment of Nikhil Arora as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Tuesday, effective December 31, 2023. The current CEO, Thanos Papangelis, will transition to a role as a board member and product & innovation advisor.

Nikhil Arora, a seasoned executive with a successful multi-decade career in high-growth companies, brings extensive experience in spearheading market launches, product development, and global initiatives. With a background at GoDaddy, Intuit, WeWork, and ADP, Arora has played a pivotal role in helping small and medium-sized companies in the EU, US, and Asian markets prepare for their next phase of growth.

His international exposure, having lived in nearly 20 cities, uniquely positions him to drive Epignosis’s expansion in the EU, United States, and Asian markets.

In a statement, Arora emphasized the importance of upskilling and reskilling within businesses, praising Epignosis for its work in making learning simple and scalable for companies. He expressed enthusiasm for working closely with Thanos Papangelis in the coming month to further understand the business and position Epignosis to revolutionize the world of skilling in 2024 and beyond.

Epignosis, guided by a mission to democratize learning, has witnessed substantial growth under Papangelis’s leadership. The company’s headcount surged by nearly 150% from 2020 to 2023, and its customer base grew by 40%. Currently, Epignosis’s technology is utilized by 22 million people in over 160 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. Notable clients include Google, the United Nations, Schneider Electric, eBay, LVMH, ISUZU, Epson, Zalora, and HarperCollins Publishers.

Co-founder Thanos Papangelis expressed confidence in Arora’s ability to lead Epignosis to new heights, citing his passion, intelligence, experience in the HR technology sector, and dedication to the company’s culture and employee happiness. Papangelis looks forward to continuing his involvement with the product team as a product & innovation advisor.
