New Delhi: Google India released its highly anticipated annual compilation of the “most Googled people” for 2023. Topping the list are prominent figures from Bollywood, cricket, and the realm of YouTube, offering a captivating snapshot of the public’s curiosity throughout the year.

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani emerged as the most searched person for 2023. Following closely behind is Indian star batsman Shubman Gill, who secured the second spot. Rachin Ravindra, the promising New Zealand opening batsman of Indian descent, secures a noteworthy third position after his standout World Cup displays. Not to be overlooked, Mohammed Shami’s enchanting performances throughout the World Cup earned him the fourth spot. Wrapping up the top five is renowned YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner, Elvish Yadav.

Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra claims a prominent sixth place. Following suit, Australian cricket powerhouse Glenn Maxwell takes the seventh spot, while retired English football legend David Beckham gracefully lands at eighth. Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav secures the ninth position, showcasing his widespread popularity. Rounding off the Top 10 is Australian cricketer Travis Head, making waves in the online search realm.

Topping the charts in India’s search trends, Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster “Jawan” emerged as the most sought-after film. Meanwhile, the dynamic duo of Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi stole the limelight with their web series “Farzi,” securing the coveted title of the most searched show.
