Many tweeted their concerns in reactions to his tweet, saying, “Stay safe anna (brother)”. One of his fans wrote on X, “Thank God you’re back to India. Stay strong Japan. Thank you for your concern.” One of his Japanese fan pages tweeted, “A very serious thing happened, but Japanese people, including the suburbs of Ishikawa, have an indomitable spirit in any situation like RRR Bheem.”
A series of powerful earthquakes struck western Japan on Monday, resulting in at least eight deaths and causing damage to buildings, vehicles, and boats. Authorities cautioned residents in certain areas on Tuesday to avoid returning to their homes due to the ongoing risk of additional strong tremors. The Japan Meteorological Agency issued a major tsunami warning for Ishikawa and lower-level warnings or advisories for the remaining western coast of Japan’s primary island of Honshu, as well as for the northern island of Hokkaido.
Jr NTR’s film RRR achieved major success in Japan in 2022, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film upon its release. According to PTI, the directorial work of SS Rajamouli garnered over 410 million yen (around ₹24.13 crore) at the Japanese box office. Both Jr NTR and his co-star Ram Charan had previously visited Japan for promotional activities related to the film.
Jr NTR is currently working on his upcoming Telugu film, Devara. On New Year, he shared a powerful image from the movie and announced the release date. Sharing the look on Instagram, he wrote, “Wishing you all a very Happy New Year. Can’t wait for you all to experience the glimpse of Devara on January 8.” He also has War 2 with Hrithik Roshan.
