India Today North East had reported the same incident on November 3, 2023. According to the news, the explosion occurred in Dera Ismail Khan in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The bomb was intended for the police, planted on a motorcycle near a police van parked in the Tank Adda area. After the blast, gunshots were heard in the vicinity. Law enforcement officials and the local bomb disposal unit promptly arrived at the scene to evaluate the situation.
ARY News from Pakistan had also featured a live video of the blast in the search results. Moreover, there are no confirmed reports about Masood Azhar’s death.
Thus, it is confirmed that the viral video, claiming Masood Azhar was killed by an unidentified group in Pakistan, is misleading.
