After Mohan Yadav elected as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, a video — showing Yadav’s confrontation with a group of people — has gone viral on social media. In the video, it appears that Mohan Yadav engages in a heated argument with someone, using offensive language. Many users claim that the new CM of MP is behaving poorly with the public. Sharing the video on Instagram platform, one account holder comments that Mohan Yadav has a history of using abusive language.
The video is shared on Facebook with a caption: “मोहन यादव जी द्वारा जनता का अपमान किस प्रकार किया जा रहा है” (English translation: How is the public being insulted by Mohan Yadav ji?)

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim, and found it to be MISLEADING.
With relevant keyword search, the NM team traced an article in Navbharat Times, dated October 30, 2023, revealing that the video of Mohan Yadav had become viral before the assembly elections. The MP Congress had used this video to target the then education minister Mohan Yadav by sharing it on Twitter on October 30, 2023.
Searching further, we found the same video published on several social media accounts in 2018. The viral video can be seen at the end of this one-minute Facebook video posted on November 28, 2018.
Thus, we can conclusively say that an old video of Mohan Yadav confronting with a group of people has been falsely shared as a recent incident after he became MP chief minister.
